Monthly Volume

This article explains why choosing an accurate Volume will help keep you from over paying.
Keeping costs at their lowest for your company is key to good business and we want to help.

The best way to explain this is by an example.
Let's say your company does a volume of about 7,000 Black & White copies a month and about 500 Color copies a month. This is an average usage each month. An example of a monthly payment for this amount of usage could be $455.00

If you choose a monthly volume that is too low then overage copies can eat up any savings.
Let's say you choose a monthly volume of only 500 copies a month and zero color copies a month.
You monthly payment might be, for example $314.25 a month. Much less commitment then by choosing higher volumes, right? Not so fast…

Well, if you actually make 7,000 Black & White copies that month then you could pay $314.25 for the first 500 copies and then 0.0185 cents for every copy after that. So, 6,500 times 0.0185 is $120.25 in overage costs. Add that to your $314.25 and you're at $434.50 for just Black & White.
Since you also chose zero (0) Color copies then all color copies might have the overage of 0.095 cents charged per color copy. So, 500 times 0.095 is $47.50.

We simply add both Black & White and Color overage copy amounts to your base monthly payment to get a total of $482. You can see how you could have over paid $27 for that month.

The same can be said for choosing a monthly volume that is too high for your company. Sure, the overage rates are much lower but your monthly base payment is high. That would effectively have your company paying for copies they didn't make.

Using the most accurate monthly volume average is always the best at keeping costs low.
